the benefit of operational control
jet i.c.u. is one of a handful of air ambulance companies that operates it own dedicated air
ambulance aircraft. we have complete responsibility and control over the performance and safety of
our fleet and the training of our pilots under faa license/air certificate #w50a880l.
flight crew & safety
every jet i.c.u. flight is staffed with two experienced pilots, a captain and a first officer. both are
well-versed in domestic and international aeromedical flight operations. they’ve been trained under
stringent faa guidelines requiring semi annual classroom and simulator training in the type of
aircraft they are operating, faa checkrides, maintaining class 1 medical, and all other faa
requirements.
aircraft & equipment
jet i.c.u. has chosen learjets for their ability to cruise at altitudes of 45,000 feet, high above
adverse weather for patient comfort at speeds in excess of 500 miles per hour. our lear 25d, lear
36a, and lear 55 aircraft are fully equipped intensive care units that provide a tremendous amount
of flexibility to provide cost effective international air ambulance service and domestic medical
transportation. the aircraft are configured to transport one patient, 1, 2, or 3 medical personnel, and
a family member.
the learjet advantage
our impeccably maintained, all-learjet fleet is a
source of great pride. you will travel confidently
in comfort in the learjet, the backbone of so
many aviation fleets.
